Hi everyone. I’m Hamish Clarke at the University of Melbourne, interested in all things fire, fire management and climate change. My group is FLARE Wildfire, and I write at Future Fire
Hi everyone! I’m Jesse Sprague, founder of Echospectra, a mapping platform built for wildfire investigation. We focus on structured, offline-first field capture for fire investigators, along with fire risk and impact analysis tools.
My background is at the intersection of technology and fire — I’m passionate about building tools that help diagnose and prevent wildfires, and I’m especially interested in how better data collection in the field can improve our understanding of fire behavior and inform smarter policy.

Hi Hamish. I am currently working with a colleague of yours at FLARE, Alex, on some research related to wildfire investigations. Hopefully this is a start to diving into additional research behind fire pattern indicators and ignition causes.
